Welcome to my world. I am a writer. A lesbian writer.

I love writing the stories of our lives, taking a few chances with my characters and plots in the hopes of entertaining and even challenging a reader. My goal is to engage your emotions, make you feel and keep you wondering what the heck is coming next. My first novel, Faithful Service, Silent Hearts, was a 2012 finalist in two categories by the Golden Crown Literary Society. My second novel, Tactical Pursuit, is a 2013 Lambda Literary Award Finalist as well as a Golden Crown Literary Award Finalist for best dramatic romance.

I'm partial to books and writing, but I'm also a lover of all things creative. To this end I surround myself with like-minded folks who appreciate and nurture the creativity in others. I admit to being a history/political geek, too. I love a great debate, so long as it's respectful to each person's opinions. We can disagree, but this is a No Hate Zone around here. I'll be blogging from time to time on my thoughts regarding any number of subjects, and I hope you'll take a minute to share your thoughts when the mood strikes you.
